Kevin is a highly experienced and professional property industry veteran. With over 35 years in the business he is still passionate about sourcing and developing new projects and enjoys the many complex challenges involved in the journey.
Kevin was previously Managing Director of Macdonald Estates and decided to set up K R Developments in October 2015.
At Macdonald Estates he was one of the three founding Directors and equity shareholders. The business was established in 1997 and quickly became renowned as one of the leading developers in Scotland particularly in the retail sector. Prior to Macdonald Estates, Kevin was a Development Director at Morrison Developments (part of Morrison Construction Group). Before then he was a Development Manager at Neale house Investments (part of Co-operative Insurance Society) before this Assistant Manager (Scotland) for CIN Properties Limited (the property arm of British Coal Pension Fund). Kevin commenced his career with British Rail Property Board where he spent his first five years and became a Chartered Surveyor.
A Fellow of The Royal institution of Chartered Surveyors, Kevin also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
In his spare time Kevin enjoys travelling, football, golf, skiing and photography.
Kevin was recently a member of Prostate Scotland Fund Raising Committee which successfully raised the required funds to bring the latest Robotic Surgery to Scottish Hospitals for the treatment of men with Prostate Cancer.

Neil is Development Director at KR Developments with responsibility for sourcing, procuring and promoting suitable development projects from inception to completion.
He joined KR Developments in March 2016 and has an agency and property development background with 20 years professional experience in the retail and student accommodation sectors.
Before joining KR Developments, Neil was Development Manager with Interserve Developments working on the delivery of projects across the UK. Prior to this Neil spent 14 years at Macdonald Estates, where he worked alongside Kevin and the rest of the team on the acquisition and delivery of a number of highly successful retail and student accommodation developments. Early in his career, Neil worked as a retail agent in Glasgow for the property consultants Healey & Baker, advising occupiers, property companies and private individuals on lease transactions, sales and purchases.
Neil holds a BSc (with distinction) in Land Economics from University of Paisley and is a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Michael is Development Executive at KR Developments, he will be working on the management of existing development projects and is also responsible for sourcing, appraising and securing new development opportunities.
Michael brings to the team previous experience in the residential sector having worked as a Chartered Surveyor with Graham and Sibbald for 3 years, surveying and valuing a diverse range of properties across Scotland and England. Prior to this Michael worked with Umega Lettings advising landlords on the student and professional rental market, listing and showing properties for rent.
He has also gained experience in the London Capital Markets sector with Harwood Capital.
Michael graduated from Heriot Watt University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and Property Development. He is also a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
